Crystal Dynamics has confirmed that Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will be released through Xbox Live Marketplace on August 18. PlayStation and PC dates have not yet been announced.
If you'll be playing the Xbox 360 version, you may want to take advantage of a special offer from Microsoft. As part of their third annual Summer of Arcade promotion, Xbox is featuring five special games—Limbo, Hydro Thunder Hurricane, Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, Monday Night Combat and, of course, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light—with one game launching each Wednesday beginning July 21. Each will cost 1200 MS Points ($15), but Xbox is offering a 400-point rebate if you buy any three of these games, 1200 points if you buy all five.
Visit Xbox.com's Summer of Arcade page for game details and more info on the multiple-purchase discount.
I will also be giving away 3 Guardian of Light game downloads in August. Stay tuned for a contest announcement.
Let it be known, my calendar has been marked! Thanks so much Stella for such speedy news! YES!!! (excited jump)
ReplyDeleteLovely!!! Would've like to have the release date slightly earlier than August, but on the bright side, now I'll have more time to raise the necessary funds to gather the needed marketplace points *smiley*
