Square Enix has registered two new domain names—Rise of the Tomb Raider and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris—possibly hinting at future game titles. Maybe we'll hear more at tomorrow's Microsoft E3 press conference (11 a.m. PDT/18:00 GMT); however, Crystal Dynamics has also been teasing a new IP unrelated to Tomb Raider, so their E3 reveal may be about that.
In my perfect world, "Rise of the Tomb Raider" is a tagline for the next Tomb Raider, similar to TR 2013's "A Survivor is Born," and Temple of Osiris is a sequel to Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. How about you? Care to help fuel the rumor mill? What would you like to see in the days to come? Leave a comment below.
Thanks to Square Portal for the breaking news.
I think you are right here Stella :) ''Lara Croft and... The Temple of Osiris'' (as a sequel of Lara Croft and the Guardian of the Light in this spin-off series of the main Tomb Raider series, very very fun game btw LCGOL!) and ''Tomb Raider... Rise of the Tomb Raider'' (in the main Tomb Raider series). I think we'll have LCTOO first (maybe next year?) and then RotTR in 2017? (like they did with LCGOL and TR:2013). But of course I hope they'll release this games a lot sooner :) (I hope CD don't let us fans wait like they did from TRU untill TR:2013). Maybe we'll know a lot more in a couple of hours, I'm very curious!
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed for E3 news. :D
