I've seen a fair number of comments complaining about too great an emphasis on multiplayer achievements, but in fact, the list breaks down to 75% single-player, 25% mulitplayer achievements.
Follow this link to my site to check out the complete Tomb Raider achievement list. Then please let me know what you think. How do you feel about the emphasis on multiplayer achievements? Too much, too little, just right? Are there any achievements you're particularly relishing or dreading? Do you even care about achievements and trophies or would you rather just play?
Stella,
ReplyDeleteThe Achievements proportions Single/Multiplayer look OK to me, but I don't think I'll be doing much MP raiding.
Aside from the non-isometric view, it looks too much like Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and I wasn't too keen on that.
As an aside, the embedded YouTube videos run fine in IE 64 bit, but don't run at all in Firefox 19.
Crap. Way too much focus on action. I'm definitely not gonna buy or support this ruining of Tomb Raider in any way.
ReplyDeleteWow, there is a lot to do. Anyway, i like the look of new TR and the multyplayer. So, can wait to buy it!
ReplyDeleteI don't actively seek out achievements when I play (unless I've finished the game and just want an excuse to keep playing)....so these xbox achievements are not a big deal for me.
ReplyDeleteCounting down the days til for March though. I can't say that I'm gonna like this more than the rest. I do have a soft spot for the old Lara.
They don't look too bad, hopefully the MP is decent if not I'll boost them to get them out of the way
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of multiplayer achievements/trophies, but these don't seem so bad... most of them are manageable I suppose.
ReplyDeleteI never thought that online play should warrant achievements/trophies, because it makes it so much harder to achieve 100%. I'm a person who tends to play games late in their shelf life (except for Tomb Raider ;) ) and I wonder about what happens when the servers go down on all of these games with online play. Playing online with a bunch of people who are only concerned about achievements/trophies kind of takes the fun out of it. Not to mention, as a game ages there are less people playing online and there is a much bigger gap in skill level of the players.
Anyway, maybe playing multiplayer on day 1 of a game's release will prove a different experience for me and I'll be able to get some of those achievements/trophies :)
