Tomb Raider Tunes

Peter Connelly, composer and sound designer for Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Chronicles and The Angel of Darkness, has released two compilations of his TR game soundtracks on SoundCloud.

"Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness - Original Abbey Road Mixes (2002)" contains 31 tracks, co-written with Martin Iveson and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, including rare and previously unreleased mixes and cut scene background music.

"Tomb Raider IV - The Last Revelation Soundtrack" includes 67 tracks, the most complete Last Revelation collection ever released. Along with the familiar game score and incidental music are cut scene and FMV tracks without overdubbed dialogue, and a few tracks that never made it into the final game.

Also in Tomb Raider music news, Cavalier Kalm of Crowdsource Inspiration, a musical collective that seeks its inspiration online, recently wrote and released the Lara Croft-inspired ballad "A Woman’s Clever Ways." Listen to the song and find out more on Crowdsource Inspiration's on SoundCloud page and Tumblr blog.
