Lara probably instead works as a software engineer, based on her own results instead of wallpaper.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-203486658912585901.post-35576545538781029602012-10-05T06:15:42.544-04:002012-10-05T06:15:42.544-04:00A fair point. New 'Lara', however - I have no idea. She's such a Mary-Sue she's probably got a mail order Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of Phoenix.Ostercyhttp://www.notculturallyrelevant.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-203486658912585901.post-53045699895408510472012-10-05T04:01:17.566-04:002012-10-05T04:01:17.566-04:00Although I lecture at a UK university, I would poi...Although I lecture at a UK university, I would point out that one does not need to go to University to get a PhD.

It won't be a PhD by research of course, but there are institutions offering a PhD for 'Life Experience' (for a fee of course). There is also the D.Litt. (lat. Litterarum doctor) for outstanding research and publications (it's above PhD in UK, but an honorary title in the US).

Perhaps Lara could be given one of them, if Core or Eidos wished to pay for it, or list her publications ...

Dr Croft, I presume.
birchyboyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04371826465879720298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-203486658912585901.post-34972646791063558042012-10-05T02:59:42.126-04:002012-10-05T02:59:42.126-04:00Thanks for the info.
