Guardian of Light Contest Update: Win an Exclusive Lara Croft Figure from Sideshow Collectibles

Last weekend I announced a little contest to celebrate the anniversary of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light's release. The response was good but not exactly phenomenal, so I've decided to up the ante by adding a new prize: a gorgeous, limited edition Lara Croft figure from Sideshow Collectibles.

If you have already entered the drawing for the scroll, you are automatically included in the drawing for the statue. There's no need to enter again.

One grand-prize winner will receive this Sideshow Exclusive premium format figure of Lara Croft in her Guardian of Light outfit. It is one of a limited edition of only 750 and includes a fine art print by Adam Hughes, the renowned comic book illustrator who also helped design the figure. This Lara is made of polystone and wears a fabric costume with realistic detailing. She's approximately 19"/48 cm tall, including the statue base, and weighs 13 pounds/6 kg. For full details, including a gallery of images showing the statue from all angles, visit Sideshow Collectibles.

Exclusive Premium Format Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light figure from Sideshow Collectibles.

One first-prize winner will receive this 25" x 16" Lara and Totec fabric wall scroll, plus a free Guardian of Light game download for the Xbox 360 or PC.* (If you already own the game, you can pass the code along to a friend.)

Four runners up will each receive a free game download code for the Xbox 360 or PC version of the Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light game.*

There are 4 ways to enter. Feel free to use any or all of them.
  • Comment on this blog post saying you'd like to enter. Simple as that.
  • Like Stella's Site on Facebook and fill in the contest entry form there. (Look for the Contest link in the left menu.)
  • Follow @stellalune on Twitter and re-tweet any of my contest announcements to show you're interested and help spread the word.
  • Send me an email () with "Guardian of Light Contest" in the subject line.
Please submit only one entry of each type (blog, Facebook, Twitter and email), so 4 entries per person maximum. And please tell your friends, but don't spam. Spammers will be disqualified.

For complete contest rules and privacy policy, please see here.

This contest runs in 2 phases: The drawing for the wall scroll and game codes is open until August 20, 2011, 11:59 p.m. GMT. Winners will be chosen at random from all entries received and will be announced on Sunday, August 21. Prizes will be distributed immediately. The drawing for the statue is open until August 31, 2011, 11:59 p.m. GMT. The winner will be chosen at random from all entries received and will be announced during the first week of September. The statue is still in production with an estimated ship date in the first quarter of 2012.

*Game winners may choose the format they want. Sorry but PS3 codes are not available since Sony does not offer them. Special thanks to Crystal Dynamics for providing the Xbox game downloads.

  1. I already have GoL and don't really have anywhere to hang the scroll, so I didn't enter before because I thought that would give someone who didn't have the game a better chance. However, that statue is nice :)

  2. Hi Stella! How are you? It's me, J7wild! I hope you have heard of me in the Tomb Raider community! I've been around for a few years! LOL! Please enter me into the contest; the Facebook page not working for me for some reason. If I win, I will gladly add this to my Tomb Raider collection going back to 1996. I bet my wife will be thrilled - NOT! She's been trying to get me to throw (UGH!) my collection away for as long as she known me - she thinks it's not healthy for a grown man to be fixated by a video game woman that looks like a blow up doll! Heck, what does she know?

  3. Great contest Stella, I can't believe you threw in such an amazing statue. Being an avid figure collector, and die hard TR fan, I could only dream of winning such an amazing collectable. Clearly you're dedicated to Lara, and what a great way to celebrate her anniversary, you truly are one of her biggest fans!

Well, this comment surely shows my interest, and I'd be honored to enter. Thanks again for such an amazing opportunity!

  28. Do you need to send your drawing or just enter.
Or enter in the contest then send a drawing..sry my bad eng..?

  29. BoyanaSixx: I'm sorry for the confusion. In English the word 'drawing' also means the act of choosing a random winner in a contest like this. I think it comes from the type of contest where you pull or draw a slip of paper with a name or number out of a box or hat. So I don't need an actual drawing (artwork) from you, but I may draw your name if you are the lucky winner. :)

  30. Oh yeah I'm sorry to..Well some words on English cant translate to my language.. If the word has multiple meanings.
